Executive Director, Kathryn Welter, received her Ph.D. in musicology from Harvard University, where she specialized in music of the German Baroque.  She brings to the Camerata a wide range of administrative experience—from positions as Executive Director of the Composers Conference and Chamber Music Center at Wellesley College to Assistant Dean of Harvard Summer School to Manager of the Heidelberg Castle Festival Orchestra.  Kathryn is currently Music Director at Peace Lutheran Church in Wayland, Massachusetts, and directs the English Choir at St. Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Church in Natick, Massachusetts.

Administrative Assistant, Meghan Getz, has played piano and violin from the ages of four and five, respectively. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in French from Bates College, where she was also the concertmaster of the Bates College Orchestra and performed in various music ensembles.  Meghan lived in Paris for a year, and wrote her senior Honors Thesis on the figure of the pilgrim in medieval French literature.  She is currently a graduate student in the Boston University Arts Administration Masters program, and is thrilled to be working for The Boston Camerata.
